Clayhouse Players ("we", "us") produces short video stories published on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. This policy explains what information we handle, both on this website and through the private application we use to manage our own channels.
This website
This site is a simple set of static pages. We do not run analytics, advertising trackers, or cookies, and there are no sign-up or contact forms here. We do not build profiles of visitors or sell any data.
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel records standard technical request logs (such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested) to serve the site and guard against abuse. That handling is covered by Vercel's privacy policy. If you email us, we receive whatever you choose to send.
The Clayhouse Players Ops application
We run a private, internal application ("Clayhouse Players Ops") that connects to Google and YouTube APIs so we can publish and manage our own Clayhouse Players content. It is a tool for us. It is not offered to the public and does not have public user accounts.
When authorized by the channel owner, the application may:
- Upload and update videos on our own YouTube channel.
- Read and manage comments and metadata on our own videos.
- Read analytics for our own channel to see how our videos perform.
The application accesses only the Google account of the channel owner who authorizes it. It does not collect information from visitors to this site, from viewers of our videos, or from any third party. Access tokens are stored securely and are used only to perform the actions above. We do not sell this data or share it, except as required to operate the service or by law.
Clayhouse Players Ops' use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Our use of the YouTube API also follows the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
How our videos are made
Our visuals are AI-generated in a claymation style. The stories themselves are real and written by people. We label our content as AI-generated on the platforms that support it.
Removing access
The channel owner can revoke the application's access at any time from the Google Account permissions page.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our tools change. The effective date above shows the latest version. Questions about privacy go to hello@clayhouseplayers.com.
